About ILAAS:
Illini Life for Asian-American Students
- purpose? - The purpose of ILAAS is to help out fellow Asian-Americans at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) with a variety of things. ILAAS is university-sponsored, and will help Asian-American students adapt to the lifestyle at UIUC and increase awareness of culture and identity.
We hope to accomplish all this by engaging in activites that involve the whole group. Thus, we can learn more about each other and our community.
Some of the activities we plan for the upcoming months include volunteering, picnics, basketball and sport tournaments, movie nights, scavenger hunts, tutoring, fund-raising, etc. We also hope to work in conjunction with other organizations, such as AAA, HKSA, and TIA.
ILAAS has no affiliation with any religion, nor any church.
