On Thursday, March 08, 2001, a handful of ILAAS and HKSA members went to Orchid to party! They all had a great time, so the next time any of you are planning to go to Orchid anyway, why not spend a little bit of time hanging out with your ILAAS buddies?

Yesterday, February 24, ILAAS had Game Night at the Carr Lounge in PAR. A lot of people came, and everyone had a great time! All paid ILAAS members received their valuable eILAAS membership cards. Everyone played board games, card games, mahjong, twister (the ultimate party game, i might add!), and tons of mafia. Mafia was extremely loud and interactive, especially with Jennie and Mai, hehe. In addition to all the fun was celebrating Kristie Leung and Ken So's birthday! Happy birthday to both of you! And Kristie would like to add that she is still 19, not 20.

We all hope that everyone who was there had an awesome time, and for those who are still wondering or skeptical about ILAAS, its events like these that are the best opportunity to come and find out about this organization, to have a great time, and to basically meet new people!

This past Saturday, ILAAS had its first event this semester at IMPE. Our members played volleyball, and also participated in a few basketball games. Afterwards, we all headed over to Mandarin Wok, where we had a feast fit for a king! (We also got to use our 10% discount, so that was even better.)

Thanks to everyone who came!

If you missed the volleyball event, then make sure you don't miss our next event!

As a startoff to the many events that we plan to hold, ILAAS is setting up a volleyball, badminton, and dinner outing on February 17, 2001. Volleyball and badminton will take place at IMPE, and we will all go as a group to Mandarin Wok to eat afterwards.=)
